Platforms

The Windows Automation package runs on Windows robots. It is Windows-only: a flow that uses it builds anywhere but fails at run time on a Linux or macOS robot, so schedule it on a Windows robot.

How to install the Windows Automation package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Windows Automation or Robomotion.WindowsAutomation, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Windows Automation nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.WindowsAutomation

Templates that use Windows Automation

6 ready-made templates use Windows Automation nodes in their flows. Open one to start from a working flow.
