Image Automation integration

The Image Automation package (Robomotion.ImageAutomation, v0.12.5) adds 35 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Actions, Focus Window and Classify Pixel Color.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots.

What the Image Automation package does

Image Automation package helps you to automate graphical user interfaces

Desktop GUI automation using pixel-based image recognition, OCR, and synthetic input - built for RDP / Citrix / kiosk / mainframe scenarios where the target app is only reachable via screen pixels. Provides nodes to find, click, hover, drag, scroll, and wait for template images or text on screen using OpenCV template matching (with optional scale-invariant search and search-region limits) and Tesseract OCR (with language, preprocessing, and PSM controls). Ships the Extract Table flagship for scraping on-screen tables - column detection from header OCR, row detection via stripe or whitespace-gap analysis, auto-scroll-and-stitch with composite-key dedupe, and optional clipboard / monospace fast paths. Additional nodes handle pixel colour sampling and classification, screen-stability waits, clipboard get/set, and keyboard hotkeys covering F1 - F24, arrow / edit cluster, and PAD-style tokens like {ENTER}, {F5}, {HOTKEY:ctrl+s}. No authentication required.

Platforms

The Image Automation package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the Image Automation package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Image Automation or Robomotion.ImageAutomation, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Image Automation nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.ImageAutomation

Templates that use Image Automation

3 ready-made templates use Image Automation nodes in their flows. Open one to start from a working flow.
