Web Automation integration

The Web Automation package (Robomotion.WebAutomation, v1.11.4) adds 34 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Attach Browser, Alert and Click Element.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, its Toolkit node exposes the package operations at once.

What the Web Automation package does

Used for automating web related tasks

Selenium-based browser automation package for controlling web browsers programmatically. Supports Chrome, Headless Chrome, Firefox, Headless Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera, Incogniton, and Internet Explorer. Provides full browser lifecycle management (open, navigate, close), element interaction (click with left/right/double/hold/release modes, type text with optional human-like simulation, send keyboard shortcuts with modifier keys, set/get values, select dropdowns, drag and drop, file upload), page operations (screenshot of page or element, run JavaScript, get page source/title/URL, scroll, refresh, back/forward), wait conditions (appear, disappear, appear-and-disappear), frame and window/tab switching, alert handling (accept/cancel/get text), cookie management, and window resizing. Elements are located via XPath or CSS selectors with configurable wait timeouts. Proxy support (manual with optional basic auth credentials) is available for Chrome browsers.

Web Automation nodes (34)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The Web Automation package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the Web Automation package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Web Automation or Robomotion.WebAutomation, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Web Automation nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.WebAutomation

Templates that use Web Automation

One ready-made template uses Web Automation nodes in their flows. Open one to start from a working flow.
