MySQL integration

The MySQL package (Robomotion.MySQL, v0.8.5) adds 13 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Backup Database, Commit Transaction and Insert Table.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, its Toolkit node exposes the package operations at once.

What the MySQL package does

MySQL (an open source relational database management system) package for performing database operations such as execute query or non queries.

MySQL database operations package. Provides connection management (Connect/Disconnect), SQL query execution (Execute Query returns table results, Execute Non Query for INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE), bulk data insertion (Insert Table with optional upsert via ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE), transaction support (Start/Commit Transaction), database backup and restore to/from SQL files, and polling-based triggers that wait for new tables, rows, or columns. Nodes support two connection modes: a shared connection via Connect node's connection ID, or direct per-node Database credentials (Category 5). SQL queries support mustache template variables from message data.

MySQL nodes (13)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The MySQL package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the MySQL package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for MySQL or Robomotion.MySQL, then click Install on its card.
  3. The MySQL nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.MySQL
