BadgerDB integration

The BadgerDB package (Robomotion.BadgerDB, v0.5.0) adds 15 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Open, Close and Set.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 14 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 6 tools at once.

What the BadgerDB package does

BadgerDB is an embeddable, persistent and fast key-value (KV) database.

Embeddable key-value database using BadgerDB (dgraph-io/badger). Supports persistent disk storage and in-memory mode. Provides CRUD operations (Open, Close, Get, Set, Delete, List) with configurable encoding/decoding (JSON, string, int64, float64, bool). Set supports TTL expiration. Features atomic transactions (Start Transaction, Commit Transaction), merge operations for counters (increment/decrement) and JSON object merging (Start Merge, Merge, Stop Merge), key listing with prefix filtering, CSV export with configurable separators, and full backup/restore (both live and offline). No authentication required.

BadgerDB nodes (15)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

The BadgerDB package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the BadgerDB package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for BadgerDB or Robomotion.BadgerDB, then click Install on its card.
  3. The BadgerDB nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.BadgerDB
