MongoDB integration
The MongoDB package (Robomotion.MongoDB, v0.8.0) adds 14 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Drop Database, List Databases and Create Database.
It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 13 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 13 tools at once.
What the MongoDB package does
MongoDB (a source-available cross-platform document-oriented database program. Classified as a NoSQL database program) package for performing document or database operations.
MongoDB package for performing CRUD operations on documents, collections, and databases. Provides connection management (Connect/Disconnect with client ID pattern), document operations (insert single/multiple, read with query filters, read all, update with filter/update pairs, delete with query filters), collection management (create, drop, show collections), and database management (create, drop, list databases). Query nodes (ReadDocument, InsertDocument, UpdateDocument, DeleteDocument) accept JSON query filters with Handlebars template support for dynamic values. Authenticates via credential with server, port, auth database, username, and password. Most nodes support both explicit Connect + client ID and inline credentials.

MongoDB nodes (14)
These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.
| Node | Node ID | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Drop Database | Robomotion.MongoDB.DropDatabase | Agent tool |
| List Databases | Robomotion.MongoDB.ListDatabases | Agent tool |
| Connect | Robomotion.MongoDB.Connect | Agent tool |
| Create Database | Robomotion.MongoDB.CreateDatabase | Agent tool |
| Create Collection | Robomotion.MongoDB.CreateCollection | Agent tool |
| Drop Collection | Robomotion.MongoDB.DropCollection | Agent tool |
| Insert Document | Robomotion.MongoDB.InsertDocument | Agent tool |
| Delete Document | Robomotion.MongoDB.DeleteDocument | Agent tool |
| Disconnect | Robomotion.MongoDB.Disconnect | Agent tool |
| Update Document | Robomotion.MongoDB.UpdateDocument | Agent tool |
| Read Document | Robomotion.MongoDB.ReadDocument | Agent tool |
| Read All | Robomotion.MongoDB.ReadAll | Agent tool |
| Show Collections | Robomotion.MongoDB.ShowCollections | Agent tool |
| Toolkit | Robomotion.MongoDB.Agents.Toolkit | Toolkit · 13 tools |
Platforms
The MongoDB package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.
How to install the MongoDB package
- Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
- Search for MongoDB or
Robomotion.MongoDB, then click Install on its card. - The MongoDB nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.
From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:
robomotion install Robomotion.MongoDBRelated integrations
