WhatsApp Business integration

The WhatsApp Business package (Robomotion.WhatsAppBusiness, v0.21.0) adds 15 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Receive Events, Send Text Message and Send Template Message.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 14 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 10 tools at once.

What the WhatsApp Business package does

WhatsApp Business Cloud API integration (graph.facebook.com) for sending and receiving messages, media, interactive content, and more. Requires a Meta WhatsApp Business account, verified phone number ID, and access token.

WhatsApp Business Cloud API integration via Meta's Graph API. Supports sending text, image, video, audio, and document messages, as well as location pins, contact vCards, pre-approved template messages, interactive list menus, and reply button messages. Includes a webhook-based event receiver for incoming messages and status updates, media upload for local files, media URL retrieval by ID, and marking messages as read. Media nodes accept either a public HTTPS URL or a previously uploaded Media ID. Authentication uses a single Access Token from the Meta Developer Portal.

WhatsApp Business nodes (15)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. A trigger node has no input port and starts the flow when its event arrives. How to install the WhatsApp Business package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for WhatsApp Business or Robomotion.WhatsAppBusiness, then click Install on its card.
  3. The WhatsApp Business nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.WhatsAppBusiness
