Markdown integration

The Markdown package (Robomotion.Markdown, v0.4.0) adds 3 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Markdown to HTML and HTML to Markdown.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 2 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 2 tools at once.

What the Markdown package does

Markdown is a lightweight markup language that you can use to add formatting elements to plaintext text documents.

Converts between HTML and Markdown formats. Provides two nodes: HTML to Markdown (using html-to-markdown library) and Markdown to HTML (using gomarkdown). Both nodes support three input modes - direct text, file path, or URL - and two output modes - text (returned as output variable) or file (written to disk). URL input mode supports proxy configuration (no proxy, manual proxy with optional basic auth, or Robomotion proxy) and optional TLS verification skip. No API credentials required; proxy credentials are only needed when using authenticated proxy for URL fetching.

Markdown nodes (3)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The Markdown package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the Markdown package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Markdown or Robomotion.Markdown, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Markdown nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.Markdown
