Word integration

The Word package (Robomotion.Word, v0.2.7) adds 10 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Add Header, Add Image and Add Table.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, its Toolkit node exposes the package operations at once.

What the Word package does

Helps to automate Microsoft Word operations

Automates Microsoft Word (.docx) document operations using python-docx. Supports creating new documents, opening existing ones, adding formatted text (with font, size, spacing controls), inserting headers (first page or all pages), adding images with alignment and dimensions, inserting tables from structured data with optional header styling, replacing text across paragraphs/tables/headers/footers with case-sensitivity and whole-word options, and replacing images by index or all at once. Documents are tracked via file descriptors - create/open produces a descriptor that subsequent nodes consume. No authentication required.

Word nodes (10)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The Word package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the Word package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Word or Robomotion.Word, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Word nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.Word
