String integration
The String package (Robomotion.String, v1.5.0) adds 27 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Assign, Compare and Concatenate.
It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 26 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 6 tools at once.
What the String package does
String package provides simple nodes to manipulate UTF-8 encoded strings.
Utility package for manipulating UTF-8 encoded strings. Provides nodes for case conversion (uppercase, lowercase), searching (index, last index, index any, includes, has prefix, has suffix), transformation (trim, replace, split, join, cut, concatenate, reverse, repeat), measurement (get length, count substring), type conversion (to string, to number, to boolean), Handlebars template rendering with context objects, and generation (random alphanumeric strings, UUIDs). Assign node supports variable scoping (Global, Flow, Local, Message, Custom) with thread-safe writes for Global and Flow scopes. No authentication required.

String nodes (27)
These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms
The String package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.
How to install the String package
- Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
- Search for String or
Robomotion.String, then click Install on its card. - The String nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.
From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:
