SSH integration

The SSH package (Robomotion.SSH, v0.2.0) adds 6 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Run Command, Upload File and Download File.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 5 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 4 tools at once.

What the SSH package does

Connects to SSH servers and runs commands, uploads & downloads files from server

Connects to remote SSH servers to execute shell commands and transfer files via SFTP. Supports password and private key authentication. Nodes can operate in two modes: session-based (Connect first, then pass client_id to subsequent nodes, Disconnect when done) or standalone (each node accepts inline credentials and host parameters directly, creating its own connection). Run Command executes a shell command and returns output. Upload File and Download File transfer files between local and remote via SFTP.

SSH nodes (6)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The SSH package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the SSH package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for SSH or Robomotion.SSH, then click Install on its card.
  3. The SSH nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.SSH
