MQTT integration

The MQTT package (Robomotion.MQTT, v1.1.0) adds 6 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Publish, Subscribe and Unsubscribe.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 5 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 2 tools at once.

What the MQTT package does

Connect to MQTT brokers to publish and subscribe to messages

MQTT broker integration for IoT and messaging. Provides connecting to MQTT brokers, publishing messages to topics, subscribing to topics for real-time message reception, and unsubscribing. Supports TCP and WebSocket connections with optional TLS, authentication via username/password, configurable QoS levels (0, 1, 2), retained messages, and clean session management.

MQTT nodes (6)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The MQTT package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the MQTT package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for MQTT or Robomotion.MQTT, then click Install on its card.
  3. The MQTT nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.MQTT
