Grule integration

The Grule package (Robomotion.Grule, v0.3.0) adds 3 nodes to Robomotion flows, including Build and Execute.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 2 of its nodes work as tools, and its Toolkit node exposes 1 tools at once.

What the Grule package does

Grule is a Rule Engine that combines facts that are inserted into the system and reaches a conclusion by the provided rules

Rule engine package powered by Grule Rule Engine (hyperjumptech/grule-rule-engine). Provides two nodes: Build compiles rules written in GRL (Grule Rule Language) or JSON format into a binary knowledge base file (.grb), and Execute runs compiled rules against provided facts to produce decisions. Supports both single-evaluation mode (facts as a JSON object) and time series mode (facts as arrays with data from CSV files or inline arrays, with built-in technical analysis and string helper libraries). No authentication required.

Grule nodes (3)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own. The Toolkit node hands an agent several of the package operations at once.

Platforms

The Grule package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the Grule package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Grule or Robomotion.Grule, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Grule nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.Grule
