Barcode integration

The Barcode package (Robomotion.Barcode, v0.1.6) adds 4 nodes to Robomotion flows, including QR Encode, QR Decode and 1D Barcode Encode.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. For AI agents, 4 of its nodes work as tools.

What the Barcode package does

Used for encoding, decoding bacodes and QRs

Encodes and decodes 1D barcodes (Code39, Code93, Code128, CodaBar) and QR codes. Supports generating barcode/QR images from data and reading data back from barcode/QR images. All image I/O uses PNG, JPG, or JPEG formats. 1D barcode dimensions default to 250x50 pixels; QR codes default to 240x240 pixels. No authentication required.

Barcode nodes (4)

These are the node IDs an agentic flow or an RPA bot uses, exactly as they appear in the Flow Designer and in flow code. An agent tool node can also be called by an AI agent on its own.

Platforms

The Barcode package runs on Windows, macOS and Linux robots. Any Robomotion robot on these operating systems can run a flow that uses it.

How to install the Barcode package

  1. Open Packages in the Robomotion Flow Designer.
  2. Search for Barcode or Robomotion.Barcode, then click Install on its card.
  3. The Barcode nodes appear in the node palette for everyone in the workspace, because installation is per workspace.

From a terminal, the Robomotion CLI installs the same package:

robomotion install Robomotion.Barcode
