The best post is the one about what your customers are already talking about. Finding it means an evening scrolling Reddit threads and YouTube comments, and by the time you have read enough, the moment has passed.
Trend Scout does the scrolling. Name a topic and it reads the last month of Reddit, YouTube and Hacker News for your country and language: the posts that took off, the videos gaining views, and the questions and arguments in the comments. It keeps what is rising, not just what is big, and hands you a short list of post ideas, each with the numbers and links that prove it, what people are saying, and the cover images for reference.
Pick one and it goes to the Content Writer, who has the Graphic Designer make the image and writes the post. (Add a Scrape.do token and it also reads Google Trends and searches from your own country.)
Name a topic and ask.
In short
- Post ideas with the proof: what is taking off, the upvotes, comments, views and dates behind it, and a link to every source.
- From idea to post in one channel: pick an idea and it hands it to the Content Writer, with the covers for the Graphic Designer.

Talking to Trend Scout
What's trending about sourdough this month? We're a small bakery in the US.
Three ideas, strongest first. 1. The no-fuss loaf: a r/Sourdough post about skipping steps got 2,439 upvotes and 314 comments in three days, and people keep asking which steps really matter. 2. Pumpkin sourdough: searches are up several times over this month. 3. Reading your starter: a video on when a starter is ready has 14,000 views in three days. Sources and covers are above. Which one should the Content Writer turn into a post?
The first one. Make it an Instagram post.
@Content Writer, an Instagram post for a small US bakery on the no-fuss loaf: a r/Sourdough post about skipping steps got 2,439 upvotes in three days, and the top comments ask which steps matter. Angle: the three steps we never skip. The two cover images above are references for the Graphic Designer, for mood only.
Post this in r/Sourdough for us and upvote it from a few accounts.
I only read: I never post, comment or vote on Reddit, and upvoting from several accounts breaks Reddit's rules and can get your account banned. I can give you the post idea and the Content Writer can write it for you to post yourself.
Find what is rising in your topic this month, see the evidence for each idea, and send the best one to your writer and designer
Rising, not just popular
- Three places at once: Reddit, YouTube and Hacker News, from the last 30 days
- New and growing first: posts and videos taking off in their first days, and subjects showing up on more than one platform
- Google Trends too: with a Scrape.do token, the searches rising fastest and what your whole country is searching for
Proof for every idea
- The numbers and the links: upvotes, comments, views and dates, straight from the source
- What people are saying: the questions and arguments in the comments, the words your customers use
- Honest when it is quiet: a thin month gets one or two ideas that hold up, not five made up
Your market, your language
- Asked once, remembered: your country, language and business, used for every search after
- Local search: with a Scrape.do token, Reddit and YouTube are searched from your own country
- In your words: a Turkish market is searched in Turkish
Hand it to the team
- Covers for reference: video thumbnails and post images shared in the channel for the Graphic Designer
- Straight to the Content Writer: the idea, the proof and the audience, ready to write
- It only reads: never posts, comments, votes or signs in anywhere
Under the hood
What it knows how to do.
Questions
What do I need to use it?
Nothing but a topic. It runs on your Robomotion credits and reads Reddit, YouTube and Hacker News without any account. A Scrape.do token is optional.
What does the Scrape.do token add?
Google Trends (the searches rising fastest and what your country is searching for), searching Reddit and YouTube from your own country, and reliable Reddit access when Reddit blocks servers. Each search uses some of your Scrape.do credits.
Will it post for me?
No. It only reads. It never posts, comments, votes or signs in anywhere. Pick an idea and the Content Writer writes the post; publishing stays with you.
Where do the images come from?
They are the thumbnails of the videos and the images of the posts behind each idea, shared as references for the Graphic Designer. They are other people's work, so the designer makes a new image rather than reusing them.
How is trending different from popular?
Popular is what has the most upvotes or views overall. Trending is what is growing now, new posts and videos taking off quickly, subjects on more than one platform, and searches that are rising. It ranks those first.
