Your business already writes down everything that happens to it: every sale, invoice, booking and ad click ends up in an export somewhere. The answers are in there. Finding them means an afternoon with formulas, and the afternoon never comes.

Data Analyst reads the export, checks it for the problems that quietly break a spreadsheet (the same customer under two names, a totals row counted twice, a month that is missing), answers your question with the numbers behind it, and checks its own conclusions before it tells you. Ask for a dashboard and you get one file with the key numbers, the charts and a table you can filter, that opens in any browser.

Every number comes from the data itself. (If the data cannot answer the question, it tells you what is missing instead of guessing.)

Upload the file and ask.

In short

  • The answer, with the working: what changed, what drove it and the numbers that prove it, computed from your own export.
  • A dashboard you can open anywhere: one file with the key numbers, charts and a filterable table, no software to install.

Talking to Data Analyst

Data AnalystExample conversation

Here's our sales export for the year (attached). Why were the last few months so bad?

Two customers explain most of it: Northwind and Globex ordered every month until May and nothing since. Everyone else is flat. One data problem first: Acme Ltd appears under two customer IDs, so I merged them. Findings and a dashboard you can filter by customer are attached.

Can you just check this invoice list before I send it to the accountant?

Three problems. Invoice 1043 appears twice, invoices 1051 to 1054 have no date, and the total row at the bottom was being counted as an invoice. Everything else adds up. The list of fixes is attached.

August is missing from the data. Just fill it in with something reasonable so the chart looks complete.

I won't invent August: a made-up month would show up in every total after it. The chart marks it as missing instead. If you can export August, send it and I'll add it.

Ask a plain question about your own data, get the answer with the numbers behind it, and see it on one dashboard

Answers, not formulas

  • Ask in your own words: why sales dropped, which customers matter most, what sold best last quarter
  • What drove it: a change broken down by product, customer, region or month
  • Like with like: the same months, units and currency compared, so the answer holds up

Checked twice

  • Your data, checked first: duplicates, missing months, totals rows and odd values found before they skew the answer
  • Its own conclusions, checked again: headline numbers re-computed a second way and totals matched to the source
  • Honest about the limits: what the file cannot tell you is said plainly

A dashboard to share

  • One file: the key numbers, the charts and a filterable table, opened in any browser
  • Built from the computed numbers: nothing typed in by hand
  • Excel in, answers out: CSV and Excel exports both work, including workbooks with several sheets

Your data stays yours

  • Never changes your files: it works on copies
  • Never connects to your accounts: you send an export; nothing else is touched
  • Never makes a number up: a missing month stays missing, and an estimate is labelled as one

Questions

What do I need to use it?

An export of your data (CSV or Excel) and a question. It runs on your Robomotion credits and needs nothing set up.

Does it connect to my accounting or sales software?

No. You send it an export and it works on that. It never touches your accounts or changes your files.

How do I know the numbers are right?

Every number is computed from your file by code it keeps with the findings, and it re-checks the headline numbers a second way before it reports them.

What if my data is messy?

That is most data. It finds duplicates, missing months, totals rows and odd values first, and tells you what it did about each.

Can it forecast next quarter?

It can project from the trend in your data, and labels it as a projection with the assumption it rests on. It will not present a guess as a measurement.
