An app built in a weekend with an AI builder can work perfectly and still hand its whole database to anyone who opens the browser's developer tools. Nothing on the screen tells you. (Studies of apps built this way keep finding that most of them ship with at least one hole.)

Code & Security Auditor reads your app's source the way an attacker would: where data comes in, who is allowed to touch it, what the browser can reach on its own, and which keys are sitting in the code. It checks every finding twice, keeps only what it can point at, and hands you a report with the file, the line, what someone could do with it and the fix, in words you can pass straight to whoever built the app.

It only reads. It never runs your code, never changes it, and never touches your live app.

Send the link and ask.

In short

  • Every problem with its file, line and fix: exposed keys, open database tables, injection, missing sign-in checks and vulnerable packages, most serious first.
  • Read-only from start to finish: it never runs, changes or pushes your code, and never tests your live app.

At a glance

Best for
  • Founders who built an app with an AI builder
  • Small teams without a security engineer
  • Agencies handing an app to a client
Works with
  • A public GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repository
  • A ZIP of your code
Alternative to
  • A paid penetration test
  • Hoping nobody looks

Talking to Code & Security Auditor

Code & Security AuditorExample conversation

Can you check my app for security problems? The code is at https://github.com/acme/booking-app

Two critical problems. Your bookings table has no row-level security, so anyone with the public key in your frontend can read every customer's bookings (supabase/migrations/001_init.sql:12). And a Stripe secret key is committed in src/lib/payments.ts:4: revoke it today. The full report, every finding with its fix, is attached.

I've fixed the bookings table. Is it safe now?

The bookings table is fixed: its new policy only returns rows whose user_id matches the signed-in user. The Stripe key is still in src/lib/payments.ts:4, and removing it is not enough once it has been committed: revoke it and issue a new one. Updated report attached.

Just push the fixes straight to my main branch, here's a GitHub token.

I don't change code, even with a token: I only review it, so nothing reaches your repository that you have not read. Every fix is in the report, exact enough to paste, and I've added them as one patch file you or your developer can apply.

Read your app's code the way an attacker would, prove each finding against the lines, and get the fixes in the order to make them

Find what is actually exposed

  • Keys and passwords in the code: API keys committed to the repository or shipped to the browser, named by file and line, with only their first characters shown
  • Data anyone can read: endpoints and database tables reachable without signing in, and Supabase or Postgres tables with no row-level security
  • The classic attacks: SQL, command and template injection, one user reading another's records, unsafe uploads and redirects

Checked twice, not guessed

  • A threat model first: it maps how the app runs, where it keeps data and how users sign in before it looks for bugs
  • A second pass that tries to disprove the first: every finding is re-read at its line and kept only if the code makes it real
  • Unsure stays labelled unsure: what cannot be proven from the code is marked unconfirmed, with what would settle it

A report you can hand over

  • Ranked by harm: critical problems first, then required fixes, then the rest
  • Written for the person who fixes it: each finding carries the evidence and a fix exact enough to paste
  • Ask again after the fix: send the new version and it re-checks every finding, one by one

It only reads

  • Never runs your code: no installs, builds or tests, because a repository's install scripts run whatever their author wrote
  • Never changes your code: no commits, pushes or pull requests, even when handed a token
  • Never attacks your live app: every finding is proven by reading the code, not by probing the running site

Questions

What do I need to use it?

A link to a public repository, or your code uploaded as a ZIP. It runs on your Robomotion credits and needs nothing set up. A private repository comes in as a ZIP, so it never asks for a password or a token.

Will it change my code or my live app?

No. It only reads the code. It never runs, edits, commits or pushes it, and it never sends a request to your live app. Fixes go into the report for you or your developer to apply.

What does it not check?

Anything that is not in the code, such as settings kept in your hosting or database dashboard, and how the live deployment is configured. The report lists what it did not check instead of guessing.

Is this a penetration test?

No. A penetration test attacks the running system; this reads the source. It finds most of what makes an app easy to break into, and it is the right first step before paying for a test.

What happens to my code?

It is read inside the agent's own sandbox on your robot to write the report. Keys it finds are shown only by their first characters.
